Since 2024, two new holiday apartments invite you to enjoy the special flair of our listed farm with many modern amenities.
In the midst of lush meadows, only soothing silence, and the gentle mooing of our cows waft over our mountain farm. Your gaze wanders down into the Eisacktal and on to Mount Schlern and Weißhorn, while your kids are busy spending time with the farm animals. And the fact that the lovely alpine towns of Mühlbach, Meransen, Bruneck, and Brixen are only a few minutes’ drive away – simply unbelievable!

As soon as you wake up in your cosy bed at the farm Herzleierhof, you probably can hardly believe your luck: You have spent the night on a real South Tyrolean mountain farm! And there is no better way to start the new vacation day than with the delicious organic products directly from our farm. You will be surprised by your breakfast basket full of delicious treats.
If your children don’t run to the playground right away, they will probably pet the cats or make friends with our calves, the bunnies or – soon – our new dog Timmi, who will follow his big brother Bruno. Otherwise, the entire family could lend a hand in feeding the animals or working in the stables!

The fortified tower of the neighbouring Rodenegg Castle once stood on the grounds of today’s farm Herzleierhof. Until the last lord of the castle, Friedrich von Rodank, who remained childless, had the tower demolished and his residence built on the same site. In the course of the eventful history of the Herzleierhof, the legendary Lauterfresser was often a guest around 1630. Today we – Jasmin and Patrick with our two daughters – are at home here and invite you to experience the special flair of this historic location during your vacation in South Tyrol. For this purpose, since 2024 we welcome guests in our two new holiday apartments: In the cosy vacation homes with kitchenette, dishwasher, and direct garden access, you may spend your holiday in the region Pustertal at 1,060 metres above sea level in a wonderfully comfortable way and with a fantastic view. And you have the opportunity to get a taste of traditional life on a mountain farm – for example by baking bread together.

Around the farm Herzleierhof, many exciting leisure activities await you all year round! Simply pack your backpack and start hiking on the Spisser Höhenweg (Altitude Trail), the Bienenweg (Bee Trail) or the Jägersteig (Hunters’ Path). Or you may simply admire the unique South Tyrolean mountains on the alpine plateau of the Rodenecker Alm or on the Dolorama Trail.
When the sun kisses the snow in wintry Pustertal, you live in the heart of a winter wonderland, where you may indulge in cross-country skiing, ski touring or snowshoeing. If you prefer to carve your turns on perfectly groomed slopes, you may reach the popular ski area Gitschberg Jochtal in just 20 minutes by car.
